1.  Coconut Shampoo Recipe




I can't resist the alluring smell of this luxurious coconut shampoo! 


So these are the ingredients of making coconut shampoo:


  • 1/4 cup distilled water
  • 1/4 cup liquid Castile Soap, you can use unscented one or choose your favorite
  • 2 tsp jojoba oil
  • 10 drops vanilla essential oil
  • 10 drops coconut fragrance oil
  • Flip cap bottles or foaming bottles to dispense 
Mix all the ingredients together, store in a bottle. Wet your hair with some water and apply this coconut shampoo into your hair, rinse thoroughly. You will even like the shampoo more than the other recipes because it smells nice...


2.  Tea tree and peppermint oil shampoo (stimulate shampoo recipe)




To wake up your scalp and your senses, try tea tree and peppermint oil shampoo which is also called stimulate shampoo.

Ingredients of Stimulate Shampoo:


  • 1/4 cup distilled water
  • 1/4 cup liquid Castile Soap
  • 1/2 teaspoon jojoba oil

  • 1/8 tsp tea tree essential oil

Ingredients of moisturizing shampoo;


  • 1/4 cup distilled water
  • 1/4 cup liquid Castile Soap ( use your favorite scent)
  • 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
  • 1 tsp glycerin
  • 1/4 tsp avocado oil or jojoba oil
  • Flip cap bottles/foaming bottles to dispense
Mix all the ingredients together and store in a bottle, always shake it well before use. Apply to your hair and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Rinse well with cool water.



4. Lemon Shampoo (shine shampoo recipe)



Lemon shampoo is fragrance and lively, try this shampoo recipe to add shine to your hair


Ingredients for lemon shampoo

  • 1/4 cup distilled water
  • 1/4 cup liquid Castile Soap, try lemon
  • 2 tbsp dried Rosemary
  • 2 tbsp sweet almond oil
  • 1/4 tbsp lemon essential oil
  • Flip cap bottles or foaming bottles to dispense
Boil the distilled water and add rosemary, steep until fragrance. Strain the leaves and let it cool. Mix all the ingredients and add to water, stir well. Also store in a bottle and then apply it into your hair and rinse thoroughly..



5.  Dandruff Shampoo (using apple cider vineger) recipe;



Dandruff is not good in hair, it can affect people in every age group, it can also manifest as either very dry and flaky scalp or very oily scalp with flakes. Dandruff is not caused by a dry scalp or from improper hair care, it can be caused by increased of oil, hormonal fluctuations, stress and illness. To banish a flaky scalp, you can try this shampoo recipe!

Ingredients used;


  • 1/4 cup distilled water
  • 1/4 cup liquid Castile Soap
  • 1/2 tsp jojoba, grape seed, or other light veg. oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vineger
  • 3 tbsp apple juice
  • 6 finely ground cloves
  • Flip cap bottles or foaming bottles to dispense
In a small blender or grinder, mix all the ingredients on low for 30 secs, wet your hair with warm water and shampoo the mixture into the hair well, rinse with warm water.
Cover and refrigerate the leftovers one. Discards after 3 days..


Notes; if your hair itches, try the following essential oils; rosemary oil, tea tree oil, lavender oil and if your hair becomes dry, try a tiny bit of oil ( you can make use of any oil) smoothed on bottom of hair.

If your becomes greasy, try using less apple cider vineger, switching to lemon or lime juice, leaving out the honey and use a comb instead of brush. Also make sure you apply the apple cider vineger just to the end of the hair.
